My Philosophy...
My Philosophy; not a term I use a great deal, but here it is.
It has taken a few pro-active years for me to start becoming the person I am aiming to be. I have made some challenging choices along the way; some of which knocked me completely off-track, and some that pushed me quickly forward. I have learned, and grown from them all.
It is exciting and sometimes a bit scary as I discover more and more about myself that I didn't know.
I was going to write a great story about what I am aiming for, hoping to achieve, feel and think...then a book was presented to me that said it all...
So I have taken the following from a book by Colin P. Sisson; a book by the way that everybody on the planet would be wise to read, it's called 'Rebirthing Made Easy'... Colin has used this section for self-love but for me the following says it all...
I have the right to be me - the way I am and the way I want to be...
I have the right to think and feel any way I choose, to be the ultimate judge of my actions and be completely responsible for them...

I have the right to love whomever I choose and allow myself to be loved in return...
I have the right to love and respect myself, to plan; to win and to become the very best I can possibly become so long as I am honest and manipulate no one in doing so...
I have the right to change, to grow, to learn about myself and my world, to make mistakes, and be responsible for them...
I have the right to say no and be independent of the approval of others...
I have the right to privacy, a time to be on my own, to keep a part of my life secret, no matter how important or trivial...
I have the right to question anyone in matters that affect my life. To be listened to and taken seriously...

I have the right to be trusted and taken at my word. If I am wrong, to be given the chance to make good...
I have the right to change my mind, and never give reasons or excuses to justify my actions...
I have the right to say I don't know or not to answer questions from those who have no right to ask...
I have the right to solve my own problems, to make my own decisions and find my own happiness in the world...
