Word Definitions...
Akashic: these are God's recorded memory of every event in an individual's life. They include the complete records of every person's incarnations.
Angel: being of pure light from the spirit world serving God. Sometimes portrayed in human form with wings.
Ascended Master: A highly evolved non-physical being who has achieved "ascension", in that he no longer is obliged to incarnate in earthly form. Ascended Masters continue to help humans evolve in consciousness from their abode in the higher realms. Examples of ascended masters are St. Germain, Master Kuthumi (St. Francis), Lord Sananda (Jesus) and Lord Maitreya (Buddha)
Attunement: a technique that opens and connects the energy fields, bodies, and channels to a certain field of energy such as Reiki.
Aura: the invisible and colorful energy field surrounding the outer bodies of all living things.
Chakra: an energy center in the body. There are seven main chakras.
Endocrine system: the glands and parts of glands that secrete hormones that integrate and control the body's metabolic activity. Endocrine glands include the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroids, adrenals, pancreas, ovaries, and testes.
Etheric: an invisible medium often referred to in esoteric texts as the etheric fluidium, or etheric fluid. An etheric template is presumed to surround every living organism, and indeed the Earth itself.
Guide: the astral form of a spiritual teacher that can be contacted through meditation or psychic ability.
Immune system: the system that protects the body from invasion by foreign substances, such as bacteria and viruses, and from cancer cells.
Manifest: to believe and have faith that one can by force of will, desire, and focused energy, make something come true on the physical level.
Meditation: a technique of mind control with the goals of feeling an inner calm and peacefulness, profound experiences of self-realization and transcendental awareness.
Reiki: reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands". The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
Visualization: forming clear mental images often used in meditation to focus and direct energy to a visualized goal.
